What IS your idea of IDEAL WEIGHT?

Being constantly bugged and teased by others about your body size and weight...
Not that you are overly obese, but just a tad overweight and pudgy before...
But you want to the teasing and fat jokes to STOP.
PERIOD.
So you finally make a resolution to lose it all...

Now...
You're more confident and looking great after shedding major pounds off...
Albeit spending loads of time, money, determination, self-control and effort whilst doing it...
With new-found confidence, you start wearing sleeveless apparel (e.g. tubes and tanks)...

One day, you're shopping with your friends in the mall, and walk into a clothing store...
You're flipping through the racks of clothes...
Then the not-so-slim salesgirl walks over and bluntly informs you....
"Our clothes are all FREE SIZE..."
You feel insulted and hurt...
You've already lost so much weight, and now someone who's BIGGER than you is telling you that you can't fit into the clothes cos they are free size...

Another day, you're shopping with your friends in the mall, and walk past a spa promotion booth...
Almost IMMEDIATELY, the promoters approach you and start hounding you about their latest slimming packages available...
Which smashes your new-found confidence to another new low...

After several of such incidents, you start to question yourself...
"Am I still very fat? But I've already lost 10 over kilos..."

This can result in 3 types of endings...

A: You are motivated to lose MORE weight to reach the IDEAL weight ingrained in the minds of the promoters and the public...


B: You lose ALL motivation and hope, and start bingeing again. Since no matter how much weight you lose, you'd still look fat to others... And regain all the weight you lost... Or even MORE...


C: You go OVER-THE-TOP in weight loss, and even start becoming bulimic... Severely harming your own body and health in the process...

But frankly speaking, if an UK size 8/10 woman, still gets hounded slimming promoters, there's something SERIOUSLY WRONG with the public's idea of IDEAL WEIGHT...

Is size 0 really a practical and healthy IDEAL?

I wonder...

A girl's best friend - mascara...

The mascara that I have since I saw it on a magazine have finally started showing its ads on TV...

Basically like what the ad says it lengthens and voluminises your lashes upon each application... And the more layers you put on, the more volume and length your lashes have. For me, I think two layers is good enough for day, but three would be good for night, when you want thicker eye makeup.

For me I prefer the pure black one, even though it comes in two colors. It really makes your lashes look very voluminous...

My New Academic Module - Beauty Credit....

I've recently started a new daily beauty routine since Jan 2007...

Cos in my blur queen state I could not manage to locate the Kiehl's store in Vivo City despite combing the entire second and ground floor...

So I gave up...

And I continued shopping with my mum...

Until we reached the basement to search for food...

Then...

I saw it...

Not Kiehl's...

But Beauty Credit...

The beauty care range from Korea that currently has Hyun Bin (from "My Lovely Samsoon") as the spokesperson...

I know of this brand cos I've been searching online for videos with Daniel Henney, and I chanced upon a TVC with Hyun Bin, and that was for Beauty Credit...

When I saw the TVC, my first impression was not of the product, or of Hyun Bin...

But the fact that the packaging was very nice!!!

SO...

Being suckers for packaging...

I checked out the store after dinner and bought the bare essentials...

Just look at the cute packaging for the loose powder and compact!!!

The brand symbol is that of a rocking horse...

Which to me...

Basically exudes the air of royalty and innocence...

You'll feel like a princess when you use the products...

Literally...



After using these for about 1 month, I went for a free facial...

After which I signed on for a facial package with their sister company Chrysalis Spa...

And I got MORE and MORE products...



I think that their range of products are quite effective...

Recently I got a tea tree extract spot essence for acne or pimples...

And it "killed" my heaty pimple in 2 days' time...

Not too bad for something that's worth 1/3 the price of something from Kiehl's or other more expensive brands...
