the fried chicken is uniquely seasoned with spices so the crispy flour coating is different from KFC... i think there's loads of cajun in it...
POPEYES BONAFIDE CHICKEN is a must try...
you get the choice of which part of the chicken you want...
so there's alot more flexibility for those who don't eat certain parts, or ONLY eat certain parts...
basically i eat anything...
if the chicken breast is succulent, the chicken drum should be even better...
you can also choose the level of spiciness you'd like your chicken in...
from regular to mild to spicy hot...
i'd go for spicy hot anytime...
their signature side dishes are another thing that sets them apart from KFC...
BISCUITS are MUST TRY...
tastes FANTASTIC when you dip the buttery biscuits (bread-cum-biscuit-cum-cake-like texture) into the MASHED POTATO WITH CAJUN SAUCE...
YUMMY!!!
their COLESLAW is also different from KFC, it's bigger in chunks, so there's more bite when you eat it...
RED BEANS & RICE is for those who can't have a meal without rice... the red beans combi reminds me of chilli con carne which i LOVE...
CAJUN BATTERED FRIES also remind me of well-seasoned potato wedges...
i've only tried it once in Singapore at the Singapore Flyer...
so far it's close to what i had in Hong Kong...
thinking of it makes me salivate...
