每个人只会看到自己想看的东西
每个人在看到之后只会想起自己有关的东西
每个人在以为已经看透某些事情的真谛时其实已经被看穿他的价值观和思考的东西
这本书
应该也不例外
Food for thought from a new pictorial book I just bought yesterday after KTV...

A new definition of work
Working on a Saturday afternoon at home... So there's a thought evoked in my mind...
I dunno about the rest of you, but what does work REALLY mean to you?
When asked whether you prefer working to studying, what's your answer?
When you're studying, you'll say you prefer to work.
When you're working, you'll say you prefer to study.
But is that what we really want? 'Cos if you look at it, there's really a contradiction to our answers.... I mean, is it that we can't make up our minds?
Or is it just that we'd always prefer the other option to what we're doing now? 'Cos there's the unknown factor involved in the alternative that makes it so much more enticing, even though in the end it might be the same after all.
The Mystery of the Unknown, the Alternative...
The Joy of actually having a choice in our prefixed, routine lives...
Ah the things we do to try to make our lives more bearable...
I believe that there is no other option than one option.
We ALL wanna just BUM around and not have to do anything.
That's the ultimate answer to the question posed above. I mean, we choose the other option 'cos we think that it's easier, more relaxing, etc... but when we do it, we wanna go back to the previous one, cos it's also too taxing...
So pose yourself the question if you dare, and tell yourself truthfully...
What do you prefer? Studying or working? [Or bumming?]

An End Tag to 2004
Jan to Mar 2004:
Still struggling in nightmare of an ex-company...
Mar 2004:
Off to Chicago for film fest!!! Woo hoo!!! Winter blues? No way!
Mid-April 2004:
Melodramatic resignation...
Mid-April to July 2004:
Changed a new company... worked on NDP...
A global traveller, all thanks to a certain brand, travelling here and there to research, scout and film for my company... Tried and tested in practice, a good act as a lost tourist with a handful of maps, looking blur and pitiful on the streets... Can fool up to 3 Men-in-blues to give me full attention and assistance in getting to my designation, despite language barrier!
August 2004:
NDP unveiled!!!
September to Nov 2004:
Certain brand's post work... Phew thank God it's over....
Dec 2004:
Fresh projects to usher in the new year!!!

S.O.S.
S.O.S.
Eversince the day we met,
Never a sec of peace I had.
Every single frame of that,
Replay endlessly in my head.
Gonna drive myself crazy mad,
You'd better quickly hurry back.
