A new definition of work

Working on a Saturday afternoon at home... So there's a thought evoked in my mind...

I dunno about the rest of you, but what does work REALLY mean to you?

When asked whether you prefer working to studying, what's your answer?

When you're studying, you'll say you prefer to work.

When you're working, you'll say you prefer to study.

But is that what we really want? 'Cos if you look at it, there's really a contradiction to our answers.... I mean, is it that we can't make up our minds?

Or is it just that we'd always prefer the other option to what we're doing now? 'Cos there's the unknown factor involved in the alternative that makes it so much more enticing, even though in the end it might be the same after all.

The Mystery of the Unknown, the Alternative...

The Joy of actually having a choice in our prefixed, routine lives...

Ah the things we do to try to make our lives more bearable...

I believe that there is no other option than one option.

We ALL wanna just BUM around and not have to do anything.

That's the ultimate answer to the question posed above. I mean, we choose the other option 'cos we think that it's easier, more relaxing, etc... but when we do it, we wanna go back to the previous one, cos it's also too taxing...

So pose yourself the question if you dare, and tell yourself truthfully...

What do you prefer? Studying or working? [Or bumming?]
