Synopsis:
Robot maker, Kronos Heaven, finally develops "Tenjou Night　天城ナイト", the perfect male humanoid programmed to be devoted and completely loyal to his lover. The company chooses temp worker Izawa Riiko 井沢利衣子 to take part in a 5-day free trial. At first, Riiko only sees Night as a household appliance. But when she finds out how deep Night's devotion to herself is, Riiko finds herself falling in love with him. Joining the love triangle is Asamoto Soushi 浅元創志, a distinguished young executive at her company who has feelings for her. -- Fuji TV

Review:
I think as the series unfolds, it's inevitable that you'll find yourself rooting for Night... As his devotion and love for Riiko is unfaltering even when she makes him angry and sad most of the time... The thing is that, as he is trying so hard to woo Rikko into loving him, he is also unconsciously wooing the audiences, and making THEM fall for him and his over-the-top ways...

At times, I feel myself really wanting to give Riiko a slap on her head to clear her view on things... when she's treating Night like dirt, when he's SUPER nice to her.. she seems to be the jerk to be in a lot of scenarios... and when she loses Night to her friend Mika, and she's still nonchalant, it's when it really got on my nerves...

Riiko seems to only realise Night's importance to her only when he's on the verge of danger or death... And it makes you wonder, can't she treat him better, even if she regards him as just an appliance? I'm sure you don't mistreat your appliances like her... even if they are but lifeless things...

This show spurred my interest in Hayami Mokomichi 速水もこみち....
nickname as Moco...
He's been around since 2002...
But haven't seen him much though...
And his tanned and muscular 186cm model frame looks ethereal against the rest of the cast... making him seem even MORE non-human... which is why he is perfect for the humanoid role...
But his smile baring all his white teeth and dimples is so endearing... cute... and bordering on the dorky side... which makes him more human...
He's in KEN-ON Agency, and that makes another funny coincidence for me...
Don't you think the cover photo of the show has Moco packaged like a KEN doll???
And his agency is called KEN-ON....
How coincidental is that?


To me, Night is just like a young kid, wanting to love and be loved back by the ones he loves...
And all his antics are ALL selfless, with the sole aim of making Riiko happy...
The ending is unsatisfying for me...
Cos I want Riiko to be with Night forever!!!!
well for me...
I think love has no boundaries....
So... I can accept them as a couple...
Just like Bella Swan and Ewdard Cullen (Twilight)....

Don't you just wish you have someone like Night in your life too?
