1998.06.06 Fan Account - Boyzone (BZ), 911 & Code Red - Singtel Anniversary HELLO Concert
Boyzone departure at 9.30am Terminal 2.
Mark Plunkett arrived at 8am sharp to check in for the guys. Later at 8.30am BZ arrived & went straight in. Managed a few shots of Ronan, Shane & Steve entering the gate. Walked beside Steve & said hi & smiled to him. Went to Ronan whom was walking beside Barry & Mark Plunkett, so I ended up walking beside Mark again!
Ronan smiled at me but his shades were on! Shane had asked us, me & other fans for tissue at the gate, but I said "Huh, tissue,oh.. It's in my bad. Difficult to get." He eventually got pulled in by Barry. Steve went in after Keith, whom was after Shane, waved bye & touched Steve's hand, smiled. Mikey was last & we were saying "Bye, bon voyage guys!" to them. They went off shopping straight after they went in.
Hope Sandy sees them. Left for home after this. Saw KRU & dancer Dino at Burger King talking to some fans of BZ. YUCKS.
*NOTE: Sorry I can't see Code Red & 911 off, no one to go with me. But I'll miss u Phil! What am I going to do if everyone wants to stop idol-chasing? Go ALONE???!!! ;~;

1998.06.05 Fan Account - Boyzone (BZ), 911 & Code Red - Singtel Anniversary HELLO Concert
Saw Ronan eating at hotel restaurant at 9.30am. He sat rather near to the window & Sandy (Jost's Malaysian penpal) managed to get a shot on viewcam of him indicating that he wants to eat first & for her to film later. I had waved to him earlier & he was not with his shades on. He did smile & wave back to me. I think he wasn't very happy when Sandy didn't stop when he asked her to. We were chased away by the security manager again. Managed to get back & saw Ronan drinking coffee, had finished his cereal/ cornflakes already. He soon left around 10.00am & Phil came down, sitting close to the table Ronan had sat at.
He was too engrossed on the menu to notice us standing at the window & looking at him. We decided to go in & have breakfast & the waitress led us straight to a table in front of Phil. He was looking at us when we entered and sat down, smiling. I settled down at a seat sideways to him, he was facing our table. I looked across & he smiled at me! We ordered & whilst waiting we talked about him being so lonely at his table. I decided to give him the bottle of stars I had made. I gazed over to his table. He was propped on his palms gazing at our table. I smiled & he smiled, I waved the bottle up & he went pointing at himself & mouthed "For me?". I nodded my head & asked if he wanted me to go over to give it to him or for him to come over. He shifted his chair but I went over before he stood up. He wanted to stand up when I was at the table but I bent down so he sat down again. I was holding the bottle his hand & said that I had put a lot of effort & time on it, making everything from scratch & that he must bring it back home. He was surprised why I thought he wouldn't & said, "Don't worry, I will! Definitely! Thank you so much!" & went examining all the hearts & stars inside once. He looked up & asked if I would be going for the Hello concert later. I didn't hear him properly, but I moved closer to him to hear him better. He said it again & I said "Definitely!". He added that they'll be performing a new song, their new single there, & hope that I'll like it. I said I would. He went thanking me again & me heart's racing so much till I couldn't think of what to say. I looked at Jost & Sandy & said "I guess I should go back to my table to accompany them.". He said "Okay, take care Kit. Thanks gain & <3 the stars!". I hugged him for several minutes & he was patting my back & I really totally melted. I just can't take that... I'll melt away....... It seemed to last forever till I decided I should let go. I gave him a kiss on his face, which was t my horror, unshaven! Nevermind, I <3 him so much anway. He pecked me on my right cheek & said "See you at the concert. Hope you'll like it!". I went back. He had asked me for my name & I said "KIT.", he said "Huh?". I said "KIT, K... I... T...". He said "Oh, Kat.". I went "No, not Kat, Kit. K... I...T... See my bracelet!". He went round it and played with it for a while. Finally went "Kit, oh... Kit, thanks for the stars, they are lovely."
After I left him, the other fans in the restaurant rushed towards him & bombarded him for photos & autographs immediately. I was like "Sorry Phil, I guess I kinda got you into this. I'm so sorry...". Later he could finally leave after the fans left him & he walked to our table, smiled & I smiled & I said "Phil, could we have a photo together?". He went "Sure, why not?". So I went over to him & Sandy took the photo for us. He had said thanks again & that he loved it. He even raised it higher to his torso during the photo, he had held me so tightly & close to him. My heart accelerated again... I <3 him so... After the photo, I looked up & said "Thanks, Phil. I <3 U.". He said "I <3 U too, take care & see u at the concert.". He took one with Jost too, Jost went to tiptoe a little, so he bent down & I smiled. I was ready to take for Sandy, but she didn't move & Phil was about to leave, I said "Huh, don't you want a photo?". I think Phil heard that & he turned back & smiled at me & waved bye. He went to Kim's table, they called him over & left later.
Boyzone arrived at around 2pm after an interview with MTV (I guess since all of them carried MTV paper bags). Code Red left at around 3pm & came back around 4pm to 5pm. Ronan left the hotel at around 6pm for golf on a cab with Barry (their Black bodyguard).
We left around 6.30pm for National Stadium. Arrived in time but lost touch with Jost & Sandy. I shared a cab with Lyndy & Pohlin. Went to get our goodie bags & left for the canteen. Damn it! They placed a cloth over the windows so we can't watch from there! Lyndy & Pohlin decided that they wanted to go home suddenly as we couldn't find Jost. Her mobile was down, couldn't contact her. I'm very disappointed, sad, angry, frustrated...
When Jost's mobile finally worked, and I managed to know that Code Red came down only to the lounge & Boyzone & 911 Lee to the restaurant. They didn't go out at all. Thank god! Hope I can have better luck tomorrow at the airport.

1998.06.04 Fan Account - Boyzone (BZ), 911 & Code Red - Singtel Anniversary HELLO Concert
BOYZONE ARRIVAL at 8.15am at Terminal 1. We (Jost & me) arrived at 7.40am, rather large no. of fans already. Sat down & waited, record company people around already. BZ & 911 touched down at around 8.15am and came out to get their luggage about 1 mins later, BZ first. Saw Ronan! SCREAM! I still <3 him the most, my heart immediately went pounding several km/h when he waved & smiled at us!
911 came out later & girls started screaming for them. Saw my enemy (that Malay girl since OTT) standing beside me, one person away.
BZ Keith came out first, went "Hi Keith!" & reached to hit his palm moving across the barricade. Next was Shane, he did the same, so I did too. Steve was next, said hi & touched his hand. Ronan was next & I did the same, managed to get in front of him but not next to him, cos of some fans bugging him, didn't want to squeeze with them, so ended up walking beside Mark Plunkett (BZ manager) & in front of Ronan's luggage trolley. Managed a snap shot of him as he smiled & came out. Keith was smoking outside the van so we approached him & asked him to pass the bracelet to Ronan. But just as I was about to give it to him, I saw Ronan sitting down next to the window & I ran towards the van. Ronan was talking on the phone, so I went back & asked Keith to pass it to Ronan. He said alright & went up the bus, called Ronan & threw it to him. Ronan caught it & was rubbing & playing with it as he talked on the phone. This feels so good, I feel appreciated! I thanked Keith profusely & went back to Ronan. Shane was signalling for us to get on the bus!
Anyway, we had to go get a cab & we left the bus, ran all the way to the front & hopped onto a cab. Can't believe that we were the only taxi chasing BZ! When we finally reached Ritz Carlton, I ran down & just as I placed my hand on the window next to Ronan, he looked my way, waved & smiled to me! Too bad I couldn't catch that down on film. I wasn't ready & his shades were up on his forehead. Later more fans ran down to the van & they started taking photos & Ronan put on his shades again. I ran beside the bus till the security stopped the fans from entering the lobby.
911's van was next. I was at the back again, Lee's sitting there. I looked at him, he smiled & stuck out his tongue at me. I did the same to him. He was really surprised & he noticed my shades (blue lens, black rim shades) & went pointing at his shades & mine indicating that they look nice or good by putting a thumbs up sign to me. I said thanx & smiled.
They came out & went over to us for photos & autographs, managed a photo with Jimmy & I was really totally pinned on a pillar by fans, a young girl was in front of me & Spike was in front of her looking our way. I said to Jost that I'm squashed & I can't move a single inch. Spike heard that & smiled & I took the shot.
Code Red came right after 911 left. Only caught a glimpse of Phil coming down from the bus & entering the hotel from where we were (next to the pillar) we were not allowed to enter the lobby. Later that day, Shane came out to autograph & take photos with fans, Keith also did but I only managed a photo with Shane & an autograph from him. They left the hotel in a while to go for "Tonight With Gurmit" recording at TCS around 5.00pm. Ran down to get a cab but couldn't, was still waving there when bus came dow & stopped at turn to turn. I waved dejectedly at Ronan & he smiled & wavd back to us! Shane too but I was only looking at Ronan! <3 him so much! Code Red came out later around 6.00pm & I managed a photo with Phil! They (BZ) came back later at aroung 9.00pm. We reahed there just in time after we went to explore the National Stadium & were told that everyone had had their rehearsal during the afternoon (4.00 - 6.00pm) already. 911 left later at around 10.00pm to have their full dress rehearsal at National Stadium again. Bothersome, should have stayed at the stadium. Waited till around 12 midnight & all the guys came back. Phil said they are not coming down, cos he'll be sleeping & did a sleeping signal to us & told us to go back & not to wait. 911 came down later & stayed around till not sure what time (we left at 1.30am, they were still around).
