I thought it was already a case of severe after effects for me...
But turns out that it might have been worse with some other people...
My colleague told me recently that her sibling after watching it actually didn't eat anything else apart from porridge and bread for a few weeks and in the process lost a total of 5kg without exercise...
I think I have my new diet plan to lose weight already...
Watch more SUPER-SIZE MEs & get freaked over the freaky French fries, and go into refugee feeding mode with only plain porridge and bread for food...
How's that???
Any luck with losing some pounds with this diet???

Slimming sessions anyone???
Ever felt that entering a pharmacy is like entering a war zone where guerilla warfare is necessary to survive the ordeal???
====================================
Well it happened to someone I know not long ago...
Someone not too young, not too old...
Someone not too slim, not too obese...
Upon entering the pharmacy, a salesperson absolutely pounced on her and started telling her to buy this slimming cream, buy that dieting tea/ pills, etc...
It was all very traumatising...
Especially for someone who just wanted to buy some medicine for a throbbing headache...
=====================================
Even if the person is not exactly slim, what makes it so reasonable for the salesperson to start bombarding her with such hurting and humilating (in some way) remarks???
Did she think that by doing so (hurting the pride of the person/ telling them they are fat/ telling them they are not the perfect size or shape that society deems as perfect) they'll get more business???
I'd think not.
=====================================
When did it become okay for the society to judge people so much by how they look, that they never even bothered about the person's feelings???
It's a very superficial society we have here...
And I dunno what's the obsession with slim and slender, hairless, smooth-skinned bodies are these days... As these ads seem to be everywhere on all sorts of media, papers, mags, TV...
It kinda irritates the hell out of me when people that look like stick insects or with chopsticks for arms and legs actually complain in public during lunch hours that they are so fat...
I mean what is the problem with them???
==================================
fuming....
Same Old problematic...

My Crush For The Moment...

hi ho hi ho... it's the holiday session once again!
with CNY around the corner, it just dawned on me that, i'm not really a holiday person...
what i mean by that is that it's not that i don't LIKE holidays....
it's just that i don't ADORE them...
it's just that i don't feel overwhelmingly ENTHUSIASTIC about them...
to me it's just a couple of days off school... work...
whatever you're supposed to be doing in your normal routine...
where you can bum around and do pretty much whatever you like and not have anyone, not even your conscience, nag at you...
==============================================
i mean there are really a few things that make CNY special compared to the rest of the other days off normal routine:
1. all the ang pows are gr8 of cos, an extra source of $$ that comes with a simple smile and greeting... not as hard as school or work definitely...
2. all the nice goodies offered on a platter in generous amounts... everywhere you go...even x'mas can't compare to the spirit, joy, & eagerness to share in CNY...
3. all the new & fanciful apparel and accessories that you guilt-freely purchase in bulk prior to the event... all the name of discarding the old & welcoming the new...
4. all the family members and loved ones whom you rarely speak to, are gathered together to celebrate the cross from one year to the other during the reunion dinner... no better excuse to get everyone together in one room...
============================================
it's reaching the end of my (monkey) year
and going on to my bro's (rooster) year
another year older
another year wiser
happy chinese new year to one and all/young and old/east and west!!!
